The container from Salt Lake with goods for the poor is being unloaded, quite an experience.
There is a picture of the old folks facility, plus there is a pict. of a couple of the older orphans working on an addition to their facility, we are helping with.
The experiences here are very rewarding and we are LEARNING so much... and it is SO hard also...

Update
Hello,
The following pictures show a bit of what we are doing.
First we visited Kaieteur Falls, the one tourist attraction in Guyana.. it is amazing.. The little gold frog.. is famous... he has deadly poison on his skin... This was the first day we did not wear a skirt and a White shirt/tie since we left.
The rest of the pictures are about some of the projects we are involved in.. Orphanage ( two), schools (7) Old folks facility for the very poor.. The chicken plucker shed, was for a womens organization in the back country,, farming chickens... Plus that is where the retirement home is.
I tried to give the owner a down payment, including the tractor,, but he is not ready to move just yet, he said. The transportation here is something... from the horse/donkey carts to new SUV's
away from the towns... it is boats,, for shopping, kids to schools, and any of there needs.
