mission picture

We have just received some more information about our assignment on our journey to the West Indies... This has changed our plans a bit.
We will be going to the MTC in Provo on Monday Aug. 20th and will stay there until the 30th... Then we will come home at night and go down to the Church Offices and attend workshops on the following: Perpetual Educational Fund, Disaster Relief Response, Employment.. and other Welfare Services.
We will leave Monday Sept. 10th to Fly to Santo Domingo for three weeks, to include: Receive and present training on what we learned in Salt Lake. Then work with another couple that is assigned there..( they live in a boat), we will be with them about two weeks...Then we fly to Trinidad ( the mission office) for a couple of days to meet the staff there.
Then we fly to Guyana on Oct. 10th to spend a week with the couple we are replacing.. and then we take them to the airport for their departure home...(to Draper) on the 18th of Oct..I have to learn how to drive on the left side of the road by then,, or we will never make it back to our apt. from the airport..We will post more as we can, as we are still learning..The Tanners ( soon to be Elder and Sister Tanner) Thanks to all for your support...

We're Getting Close

A Mormon Jack Sparrow standing by the Black Pearl. We'll be there by the Pearl before we know it. This is the Brother we will replace..

Here's a picture of the inside of the airliner we're going to be traveling on from island to island. The former couple that we're replacing said they have traveled between 60 and 70 times on planes.
